I read reviews and know it works for some, so it could have been me but I just could not get it to work even using the directions from the government. We talked about options and then when I decided it was time to return it they were very open and porfessional as well as nice. I think there is an option to purchase software to enhance the possibiity of it working. This was returned only because I work on a government contract and for some reason the set up and my computer did not accept this reader. It has to be positioned "just so" to work, which is pretty annoying.Updated on 8/16: It's gotten so touchy that it requires 1-3 minutes of finagling to get it to read.ġ Great product.
